This is a blog dedicated to my ideas. Here you'll get a glimpse of the many creative things that flow through my mind. It's a multimedia journey of pure mental randomness. I hope you enjoy the ride.

My name is Jacques Nyemb. I was born in Cameroon Africa. My father is Cameroonian and my mother is an American. This dynamic has shaped the lens in which I see the world. I tend not to see the world in black and white. I see the various shades of gray and continuously try to find creative ways to make seemingly different people see those shades too. I think that’s where my interest in graphics and design came from. I do not know of many children who cared about the realism of their illustration, who even wanted to “convey a message”. That was me an old sould wanting the world to understand what’s in my head.
As I grew up I tried to put creativity in a box and lock it and decided to cater to my technical side. I went to college to become an electrical engineer. This fascination about currents and electricity seemed to be more “lucrative” but I soon found out I could not contain my love in that locked box. During my Junior year of college I decided to change majors and go towards graphic communication systems. This led me towards the path I am now.
Along the way I’ve gain some knowledge working at my Alma mater NC A&T State University where I first got free to spread my wings as a graphic design. I later became a Production artist for a Major Law firm Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice where I learned that creativity can still be present in a structured environment. I later left there to work at a non-profit organization LC Industries, where I was responsible for design, site structure (information architecture), and daily maintenance of their ecommerce websites and many of LCI’s localized sites. I also Created HTML for promotional and transactional emails.
From there I decided to leave and start my own business Jacques of All Trades LLC. Where I am currently exploring all of my abilities. Since then, interests in photography arrived as well as video and writing. I find myself immersed with creative ideas and want to use this website to display all of my design thoughts.
